First, need
volunteers for these fundraisers and others. We have all sorts of
jobs. We need a volunteer to chair the November Holiday Craft
Festival. It is not a hard job. We have a number of people that have
worked on it for a few years and we just need someone to be in
charge. We would be happy to train someone and we also have last year's
chair willing to help. We would do more
fundraisers than this, but we need more people. Most of these fundraisers
below put money in your student's account. If you would like to volunteer
for something, please call me, Kathy Watson, 375-1962.
Reminder that we have scrip
sales every Thursday from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m., in the back of Carl's
Jr. We only skip the weeks during spring break, 4th of July, Thanksgiving
and Christmas break. We will be doing scrip sales in the band
room every Thursday from 2:35-3:00 p.m. after school starts again, except
for minimum days. On minimum days we will still be at Carl's Jr. at
night.
Hollywood Video has been
sold and that company doesn't sell scrip. We have a limited amount of
Hollywood Video left and it is first come, first serve. If you like to
order music on-line, iTunes has been added.

We also are collecting old cell
phones, used printer cartridges, and used toner cartridges for recycling
in the music rooms. Have your students bring them in to help the music
programs.

Discount movie tickets
are good for any showing Monday-Thursday for $5.00. The cost for matinees
has gone up to $6.00 and the evening movies are now $8.00. Save money and help the Burroughs music program! You
can purchase them at the scrip sales or Little Critters pet store on
Balsam.
Telephone cards that have 675 minutes (no expiration date) for $20. That is
less than 3 cents per minute. Buy at scrip sales.
Craft/Bake sales at
Wal-Mart on September 10 and December 10 after both parades.
Car Wash at
Weinerschnitzel on Saturday, September 17.
We will be doing the Community Dinner
tickets and Burros Bargain cards starting in August. More information to
come.
